
Uttar Pradesh Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Pashu Chikitsa Vigyan Vishwavidyalaya Evam Go Anusandhan Sansthan Mathura celebrated 109th birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya ji on 25 September 2025 under the chairmanship of Dr. Abhijit Mitra, Vice Chancellor of University, The chief guest of the program, Shri. Dharampal Singh, Hon’ble Minister of Animal Husbandry, Government of Uttar Pradesh bowed to the birthplace of Lord Krishna and to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya ji and paid tribute to the great personality who reached the plans to the person sitting till the last rungs of the society by Antyodaya. He said that agriculture and animal husbandry are complementary to each other. Therefore, we should promote animal husbandry through spreading new technologies up to village level and motivate the farmers for animal husbandry practice s. So that we can promote animal husbandry in our state. The Special Guest of the program, Shri. Kamal Kaushik, Senior Vice President, National Educational Federation, Uttar Pradesh threw light on the biography of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya ji. He told that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya ji was born in Deendayal Dham, Nagla Chandrabhan, Farah, Mathura. Pandit ji started zero cooperation in high school. He gave the idea of spreading development plans to the last person of the society through Antyodaya ideology. He told that Panditji gave the country a unique humanism ideology. He was a supporter of an inclusive ideology and wanted to build a strong India. In his presidential address, Dr. Mitra presented the history and working pattern of the university remembering Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya ji. He said that the university name, to be named after such a great personality, makes us feel proud. A blood donation camp has been organized by the university on this occasion, in which 46 students, employees and faculty members of the university donated blood. On this occasion, Shri Narendra Sharma, Kshetra Pracharak, Rashtriya Sevak Sangh and all Dean, Directors, Faculty Members and students were present.
