Uttar Pradesh Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Pashu Chikitsa Vigyan Vishwavidyalaya Evam Go Anusandhan Sansthan (DUVASU) Mathura started cleanliness campaign from September 20th, 2025 to October 19th, 2025 to make the campus plastic free under the efficient leadership and guidance Dr. Abhijit Mitra, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of University on September 20th, 2025. Dr. Mitra said that plastic is made of non -degradable chemical which is not naturally decomposed and remains in the environment for a long time. Due to which pollution keeps spreading. Plastic, is extremely harmful to animal, human health and nature. Therefore, all of us should avoid the use of plastic. In place of plastic bags or cans, we should use jute, cloth or paper bags. So that our nature, society and family remain healthy. All the faculty members, staff and students of the University collected and disposed of plastic packets, bags, bottles spread in the premises.
